Neagu joined Ness Romania nearly a year ago, after ten years with HP Romania in senior management. He succeeds Iulius Gabriel Mardarasevici.
Mardarasevici has been with Ness from its start in Romania and served as managing director. He was also one of the founders of the former Radix Company, acquired by Ness in 2005. He will become the acting chairman of Ness Romania, in charge of coordination and development of new business opportunities on a regional level, including Romania and Eastern Europe.
“It was a great honor for me to lead this outstanding organization for the past 15 years, and I am very grateful to all our partners and employees for what we’ve achieved,” said Mardarasevici. “I’m also very confident that the new managing director will continue to build a very promising future for Ness Romania. I’ll continue to support Ness growth from my new position.”
Mircea’s mission is primarily to manage Ness Romania operations, business development and to foster international co-operation with Ness Technologies. He has also become member of Ness’ European management, and reports directly to Ivan Hruška, President, Ness Europe.
“I am very excited about continuing to work for Ness’ success from my new position,” said Neagu. “As I always said, Ness Romania has remarkable potential in the Romanian IT environment, confirmed by the achievements of the past three years as part of the Ness family, and by the team’s dedication, expertise and motivation.”
